RNA High Tea Fundraiser Recap

BUSHkids was the chosen charity for this year’s RNA High Tea Charity Fundraiser. The High Tea Fundraiser is in its fifth year and as a forerunner to the Ekka is one of Brisbane’s most popular “Meet and Greet” events between city and country ladies.  The high tea was emceed by Landline’s Pip Courtney and was an elegant social event, including a preview of the Ekka fashion parades.

Funds raised on the day will be used to create a loan library of in home telehealth kits. This approach has been trialled with children living near Tambo, Tieri and Birdsville with Occupational Therapy, Psychology and Speech Pathology. Without access to needed therapy supports, country kids can fall behind their metropolitan peers.

Funds raised from this event will support BUSHkids to help more geographically isolated children.
