teleBUSHkids Building Construction
BUSHkids has delivered telepractice since 2016 and the number of children and families accessing BUSHkids service via telepractice continues to increase each year. At our offices in Toowong individual office spaces are equipped with telepractice capability, however the growth of teleBUSHkids has prompted the redevelopment of the neighbouring house, transforming it into a dedicated, bespoke teleBUSHkids Centre.
This refurbished building enables BUSHkids to further expand telepractice capacity, extending access to much needed free specialist allied health services for children living in regional, rural and remote Queensland.
Construction on the teleBUSHkids Centre began in November 2021 and was completed December 2022. The Centre is now fully operational with all the modern amenities and technology you would expect. As a not-for-profit organisation, BUSHkids secured grant funding through the Queensland Government to cover some of the costs of construction.
