teleBUSHkids Building Construction
BUSHkids has delivered telepractice since 2016, and for 2020-2021 provided over 12,800 telepractice appointments. At our Offices in Toowong individual office spaces are equipped with telepractice capability, however the growth of teleBUSHkids has prompted the redevelopment of the neighbouring house, transforming it into a dedicated, bespoke teleBUSHkids Centre.
This refurbished building will enable BUSHkids to further expand teleBUSHkids capacity, extending access to much needed free specialist allied health services for children living in regional, rural and remote Queensland.
Construction on the teleBUSHkids Centre began in September 2021, due to be completed by the end of 2022. As a not-for-profit organisation, BUSHkids has secured grant funding through the Queensland Government for the cost of construction.
